Located "a short walk from most anything", this "almost secret" spot boasts a "pleasant", "positive feel", a "lively" restaurant/bar and free WiFi at the lobby's computer terminals; "simply furnished", "small" rooms with "tiny bathrooms" and "mini-kitchen areas" are "attractive", but with no "two queen bed" options and not much space, they're better "for single business travelers" and those who are "not going to spend much time" in them.

Good layout, good computer connections, lights, etc. made it easy to work.

No bars -- cell phone usage impossible, and cable was slow.

Definitely high quality, especially for the Loop. Good service, good desk space. Perfect for business travelers.

Some rooms were older and were not nearly as nice as the newer rooms but you pay the same price,

The hotel and parking attendant staff was excellent.

I had a standard room that did not include a bathtub.

This is a fine hotel in a good location. Room size is small but was fine, clean and quiet. Only complaint was there was no tub in the bathroom of the standard room. They did upgrade on the third night when there was a room available with a bathtub, but my husband is disable and takes a lot of baths for pain relief so I was disappointed that the room had no tub. ...read more
